Brazil has over 185 million mobile phone lines
In June, there were added 1.42 million mobile phones in Brazil, according to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). With this, the number of mobile accesses in Brazil reached 185.13 million, 82.3% of them in the pre-paid form. In the Midwest, Southeast and South regions, the teledensity (number of mobile phones to every 100 people) has gone beyond 100: 114.8, 106.9 and 100.13, respectively.
