Brazil is the 5th most interesting market for foreign retailers
An AT Kearney study points Brazil has become the 5th most interesting emerging market for foreign investments in retailing, only behind China, Kuwait, India and Saudi Arabia. The 2010 Global Retail Development Index shows four Latin American countries are among the top 10 (Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Peru), as the global crisis had a limited effect on these economies. The negative point was Russia, who lost eight positions in the ranking and fell to 10th, although remaining Europe’s most attractive market.
