NRF Big Show (National Retail Federation)
New York, USA – January
Largest global retail trade show that happens every January in New York. The event presents the latest trends
and innovations in retailing. GS&MD – Gouvêa de Souza forms a delegation that grows every year and has a
support team dedicated entirely to the organization and use of the content featured in this event.
In programming, there are technical visits planned with international consultants, as well as wrap up meetings,
transfers and three exclusive dinners for the group, with huge networking opportunities.
In the 2009 edition, GS&MD – Gouvêa de Souza’s exclusive group was formed by 180 executives, with a pre-event

Chains Management Forum focused on “Excellence in franchising and business chains management in the
international arena.” To talk about this issue, there was brought one of the world's leading experts in
franchising - Greg Nathan, from Australia, masters in Psychology and Corporate Education and founder of the
Franchise Relationship Institute, specialized in the Franchisee / Franchisor relationship. Nathan is the author
of “Profitable Partnerships” and “The Franchise E-Factor”.

ASTD is the world’s largest training and development event, organized by the American Society for Training
& Development (ASTD), the largest association dedicated to workplace learning and professional performance,
established 64 years ago.
1st National Private Label and Outsourcing Congress

The 1st National Private Label and Outsourcing Congress is an event organized by GS&MD – Gouvêa de Souza
in partnership with Brazilian Private Label and Outsourcing Association (Abmapro), discussing topics such as
professional business development with commitment to the environment, society and future generations; How to
foster exchange information and offer tools for the sustained growth of the market; Dissemination of knowledge

Supply Chain Distribution Forum

Latin America Retail Forum

The Latin America Retail Forum happens each year to discuss some relevant issue for the Brazilian retail market
and the related segments. The two-day event has presentations of important national and foreign executives,
bringing case studies and trends under the Forum’s umbrella theme. In every issue of the Forum there is a global
study to analyze the market and provide data to base debates and presentations.

WRC - World Retail Congress

PLMA Show
Chicago – November
The PLMA's Private Label Trade Show is the largest private label and outsourcing trade show, held annually
in Chicago, USA. Organised by the PLMA - Private Label Manufacturers Association, in 2010 the event will happen
in November, 14-16, featuring more than just products. With the increasing competitiveness in the global
marketplace, the need for innovation has never been greater, with new products and models of consumer behavior.
The trade show will feature over 3,200 booths, including food and non-food suppliers, with the presence of
manufacturers from 65 countries in 39 national and regional fascias.
The public of the trade show and congress is made up of supermarkets, hypermarkets, department stores, bookstores,
attacked, importers and exporters executives. Possible stores to be visited: Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Target,
Walgreens, Home Depot, Jewel-Osco and Auto Zone.
The Rediscovery of the Real Brazilian Market
