Natura will invest 420 million reais this year, as informed Roberto Pedote, vice-president of the company. By 20123, Natura intends to reduce from six to two days the delivery of products to its consultants. For this to happen, the company will make significant investments on logistics systems and technology.
Natura reported its financial results for the year of 2011. Despite the growth both in profit and revenue, the numbers were below the expectations of the company. During the period, Natura had revenues of 5.5 billion reais, an increase of 8.9% in comparison to 2010. The profit of the company increased 11.7%, adding up to 830.9 million reais. The company’s international operations were the great highlight of the year. In 2011, the revenue in countries where Natura keeps operations increased 40% in comparison to the previous year and already represents 9% of the total income of the company.
